Fowler’s House

Fowler's BarnThis is an interesting 19th century property set in the heart of the Cotswolds. The house was owned by historian and ornithologist William Warde Fowler and was built for him in a typical oxford town house style of the time.

The house underwent many refurbishments from sash window restoration to reinstatement of original first floor fireplaces.

The biggest contract carried out by Jones and Fraser here, was a newly built 3 bay, green oak barn with a terracotta tile roof. Other work included dry stone boundary walls, a stone paved swimming pool surround and various landscaping.
